On Monday, our Year 3 and 4 children visited The Barbican for their annual LSO Discovery trip. We love driving through London looking at all the amazing buildings on our journey. The event gives us a great opportunity to listen to The London Symphony Orchestra and sing with the musicians!
Mr Kargl had been teaching the children their song and Mrs Williams had been linking the activity with their creative writing and art. Some of our art was displayed on stage!
We watched the conductor and listened to the wonderful narrator. It was fabulous taking part-especially since we were right up at the front this time! We sang with great enthusiasm and very much enjoyed watching the musicians, listening to the music and the magical stories.
Thank you to Alison (our driver), Mr Kargl (for arranging the trip and rehearsing us) and Mrs Williams for coming too. An amazing day for us all to experience!
