Klassical Kids

This morning saw another wonderful Klassical Kids session being held in the school hall.

Firstly, the nursery and reception pupils were joined by some of their parents to listen to some wonderful classical music played by a selection of our peripatetic staff members.

The pupils of Westbury House School are very lucky to have a great variety of instrumentalists offering lessons throughout the week as well as regular music and singing lessons with Mr Kargl. Today, we were treated to music played by our violin teacher, our brass teacher and our piano teacher. These are just some of the instruments which the children can learn at school.

The nursery and reception children enjoyed being able to move to the music and guess which different animals the pieces of music were interpreting.

The second session of the morning welcomed outside guests from the local community. Some under 5s and their guardians were treated to the wonderfully relaxing but stimulating music before joining in with some percussion instruments.

All the children thoroughly enjoyed the morning, thank you Mr Kargl for organising the session and to our fantastic instrumentalists for giving up your time.
