On Tuesday, the children from Nursery and Reception learnt and showcased songs and dances from all over the world.
They were dressed beautifully in Hawaiian grass skirts, garlands and flower headbands that they made themselves. They started the assembly with 'Hello to all the children of the world' which taught them how to say hello in different languages. They shared Chinese phrases they learnt from a Nursery parent and sang 'Twinkle Twinkle little star' in Chinese. They then danced a couple of songs from Hawaii and New Zealand. The children did a wonderful job in their performance.
