🌦️📊🌡️ Our Year 2 explorers have been busy bees during our Geography unit on weather! 🌍🔍 Over the past 7 weeks, we've been diligently tracking the weather every morning and afternoon. Today, we showcased our findings with amazing block diagrams that illustrate how the weather has shifted in New Malden since May. ☀️🌧️ And guess what? Reception and Year 1 Reflective Materials Experiment ✨🌟 Our little scientists in Reception and Year 1 have been busy with an exciting experiment for their CREST Science Award! 🧪🔬 They tested different reflective materials to find out which ones help us stay safe and visible. 🚸✨ Under the guidance of their teachers, they explored how different materials reflect light and learned why it’s important to wear reflective items, especially when it’s dark. They tested materials like foil, shiny fabric, and reflective stickers to see which ones shine the brightest. 🌟👀 Their findings were amazing! The children discovered that some materials are much better at reflecting light than others.
