School Council

The School Council is a useful and practical illustration of the role of Democracy and Fundamental British Values.

Each class elects one child to represent them on the School Council. The results are announced to the school and the parent body in assembly and in the Friday Newsletter.

The School Council meet once each half term.

The School Council represents the pupil voice and provides feedback to the rest of the classes in form time after Each School Council meeting.

Eco Committee

At the request of the pupils who are really interested in climate change and what we are doing to support the environment. So far the committee have introduced some fantastic initiatives to Westbury House including more recycling through the school, annual switch off day, teaching without technology as well as organising picnic lunches in the park and litter picks.

Currently the Eco Committee are supporting the Big Battery Hunt, asking for Plant donations and have organised for a Planting Workshop to take place.
